I got this bass in a trade, and it is in great condition – it’s brand new and is still in its original Fender shipping box! It looks gorgeous in black with a tortoiseshell scratch plate and lovely tinted gloss maple neck with Indian Laurel fingerboard. I can’t find any marks or dents on it at all.
These are great basses, but online reviews suggest they usually need a good set up when bought new as they can have a high action. This bass has been nicely set up with new D’Addario strings – it now plays like a dream; frets have been polished and are in excellent condition.
