Sandberg TT5 Superlight

This Sandberg TT5 Superlight Bass weighs only 3.3kg, or 7lb 3oz.  It balances nicely as the neck is also made from a lighter wood, as well as the body, and bridge, tuners, controls are also superlight.

It was originally active but converted to passive with a custom-made loom, with series mode push/pull on the neck volume knob, and a separate tone control for each pickup as well as the usual volume. Great range from bright to dark.  So, the controls are, from front to back are:

• Neck volume – push pull for series or parallel mode

• Bridge volume

• Neck tone

• Bridge tone
